School administration and Pandemic Health Coordinator has reviewed research and guidance on safe return to school from CDC, DPH, and GaDOE. Stakeholders were also given a survey to provide input into the plans. Below you will find information on the School Re-Entry Plan, a Frequently Asked Questions document, and Department of Public Health guidance documents for Isolation (if positive for COVID), Quarantine (if directly exposed to COVID), and Returning to School (if positive or exposed to COVID).
All reports of positive cases or contact should be reported to the Pandemic Health Coordinator, Kara Fenn at email@example.com. She is also the contact for any questions you may have concerning COVID guidance.
It is our goal this year to have no whole school shut-downs and no whole classroom quarantines. Ga DPH has given schools flexibility with quarantine guidance, which will greatly help us achieve this goal. The document below outlines the guidelines we will use concerning quarantines. We hope that cases will drop in our areas soon, so that we can also lift the mask mandate.
