About Me

This year marks my 12th year in education. In those years, I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade. I have also taught intervention and gifted students as well. I really enjoy teaching first grade. I attended Andrew College in Cuthbert, GA where I received my 2-year degree in Early Childhood Education. I then attended Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, GA where I received my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood education. When I graduated from GSW, I taught at Cherokee Elementary School and while working there I received my Master's Degree in Early Childhood education from Troy State University (Phoenix City Campus). I am an "original Panther" and have been working at PCA since the doors opened in 2010. I recently received my specialists' degree in Early Childhood Education from GSW. Teaching is truly a passion of mine and strive for making learning engaging for students.
