Pataula Charter Academy maintains an active PTO as a way to provide the families of our students with a voice to speak on behalf of every child and the best tools to help their children be safe, healthy, and successful — in school and in life. The mission of the Pataula Charter Academy PTO is to establish and nurture a close relationship between the parents, teachers, and students by advancing opportunities in the home, school, and community of the school.
The PTO provides assistance to teachers in classroom settings, raises funds for supplemental educational materials and experiences, supports school and family social interaction, and provides a forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children. It is our belief that the team effort of a parent-teacher organization offers the best possible learning environment for our children
PTO Needs You
Why should you support the PTO? For one thing, it’s part of the Pataula Charter philosophy to encourage parental and guardian participation. For another, it is important for your child(ren) to see you get involved with school activities. And the PTO always needs volunteers. However, we know that the time commitment is sometimes difficult to manage. In that case, we offer many ways for you to help.
Please check this page, as well as your email and Facebook periodically, as we will be posting more information about what our Panther PTO is doing!
We encourage all families to join PTO! Dues are $25 a family for the year.
