Community

At PCA we believe that great schools take an active part in their community. We try to incorporate community service projects throughout our curricula, and emphasize authentic student products that provide some benefit to our community. Additionally we have several programs that allow us to more fully integrate the community into our school. Click the links below to learn more about these programs

 Pre-K  PTO  Transportation

Separate from our charter, PCA maintains a public K-4 program and a private K-3/K-4 program.  These programs are designed to give our children the best chance for future success in school. Note that enrollment in the Pre-K program does not guarantee acceptance into PCA.

At PCA we maintain an active parent-teacher organization. We believe that one of the keys to success is active communication between all parties involved in education. That includes students, teachers, parents, and the community at large. PTO also works to raise funds for student trips and projects.

In a rural environment with working families, transportation to and from school can be an issue. Though we do not receive any funding earmarked for transportation, at PCA we set aside a portion of our budget to help provide transportation to families in our community.  We do ask for donations to support our transportation program but do not turn away students based on financial status.
